My first blog.

Well, I’ve ventured into the blog world.

This blog will be dedicated to promoting the nickname “Tamplona” in reference to the Home of the Running of the “USF” BULLS. A couple other fans came up with the name and I decided to run with it.

USF starting a new tradition of having students run onto the field ahead of the BULL players as they do in Pamplona, Spain. Also, students in the End Zone hold up green bandanas(Pamplona uses red). There are obvious similarities and I think(along with a few others) it’s a natural nickname.

I welcome your thoughts, ideas and comments.

I think that is a noble and worthy cause–Tamplona is a great term and I have been spreading its definition up and down Volusia county to any willing listeners for some time now.

As a USF alum from years ago when there was no football team, its great to see that they are such a powerhouse—unBulleivable

Thanx Jim! Will be up to see everyone soon.

Happy ThanxGivin’ Deckard ! Glad you like it as well. Will always remember your first BULLS Football game at Army. Will make it up there soon to see another game and hope you can make it to “Tamplona” to see a home game.

    Go BULLS !!!

Although I like “Tampalona” as a signature for the teams, I am not crazy about the “running of the bulls” video and the kids running in front of the team; atleast at this time. I still miss Rocky busting out of the crate and goring the other teams. BTW, hope you had a very Happy Thanksgiving!

    GO BULLS!!
